mice and eggs

Oh my gosh I just witnessed the chickens eating a mouse. Now I'm worried about the eggs they lay....is it safe to eat the eggs now?

Chickens will eat about anything that does not eat them first. Mice, frogs, and small snakes are way up on their treat list.

The eggs are fine. Mice are a good source of protein. They are digested and the chickens use the nutrients same as meal worms, earth worms, and grasshoppers.
