Not mine. You should see them when they see one, they go crazy !My chickens are too 'chicken' to even get close to the dish!

Cats are the way to go in my book!!! I've also heard of chickens eating mice, but I dont think mine have ever gotten the chance.

I think the kitties whisper at night to the chickens and tell them they can have all the bugs they want but have to leave the mice for them.

You could lock the chickens out of the infested area (coop right?). Lay down a ton of those sticky-no-kill mouse traps and then place the food in the middle of them. All the mice will try to get to the food but will get stuck in the journey. I know that sounds a little silly but its all i can think of right now...

We have the same issue with rats/mice the rats get the size of your 2 fists. I was cleaning out the shed because we might be using it as a coop and I had to wear a mask because of the mouse droppings. I moved a cooler and shuffled some stuff around in it and 5 mice came running out and my dog Winston went balistic he almost caught one to.

our mice were trap shy or could steal the peanut butter without traps going off. we just tried that blue paste bait stuff for mice. in 2 days they ate all the bait and 3rd day didn't finish it and r gone, no more signs of em and haven't seen any in about 4 days. we just put it in the hot water room where nothing else could get to it along the pipes where they was comeing in and out. don't know how my 2 cats missed em.

here are some AWESOME mouse traps.

with this one there isn't a mess and you don't have to see the mouse.

but with THIS one, the one i actually use, WORKS LIKE MAGIC! guaranteed to kill, and no chance of you chickens getting trapped! i set 5 in my house and an hour later, 5 dead mice. mice can't just eat the bait off either, they have to stick their heads into a contraption and SNAP! dead mouse.
