MICE INFESTATION. Ideas?

Good for you for advocating for yourself rather than simply accepting their refusal!

Exactly and use the bait on the Residence Life offices. maybe you'll get rid of some of the rats there as well.

Lol! Isn't that the truth!

Hate to say it but we've been overrun with mice at our house. Snap-traps caught a few but they multiplied faster than they were "caught". So we resorted to some kind of poison feed Hubby found. I've only seen a couple since they started eating the feed, and only one dead one, so I'm sure one day I'm gonna find the nest where they all went to die, but seriously, it's the only thing I found to work.

If you can find the hole(s) where they are getting in at, crumple up some aluminum foil to plug it up. They don't like that (much).

I can't believe the sorority house isn't concerned about this and hasn't called a professional! You shouldn't have to pay for traps and whatnot yourself - I would think the entire house would need an exterminator.

Someone posted once to use instant mashed potatoes. you leave the dish out, the mice eat the potatoes, they drink water and the potatoes swell... you get the picture.

Good luck.

Sounds like you need a Dorm-Cat.

If all else fails, try one of these:
www.ratzapper.com

It uses 2 D cell batteries. All you do is bait the trap and dump out a dead mouse.
We've been using the same ones for years and it's the best rodent control investment we ever made.
