MICH A friend needs help rehoming chickens

I don't know where else to put this . . .

A friend of mine who lives near Lansing got 15 chicks from MSU about 2 weeks ago. Now, he wants to rehome his one-year-old chickens. He says he gets 10 eggs/day from his 12 hens, but he has to make room for the new ones.

Is anyone interested in buying some chickens? I don't think he'll charge much, probably just what he paid for them. He just wants to clear out the coop. I think he said they're mostly BO, NH -- heavier breeds.

I would be interested if the former poster has not taken them. It would require some traveling, as i am in ne Ohio. I would be wililng to travel half way.
