Michigan Chickenstock 2011 attendees thread-- sign up here

I would love to attend with my two-legged brood! We would just be "spectators" as we don't yet have chickens, but will have soon (hopefully!) We are trying to get the kids exposed to various breeds, etc. in anticipation of 4-H and our move to farm life.

Simple life, I'm sure you will enjoy Chickenstock, however, you are responsible for checking your childrens. Some enabling members might fill their pockets.

I may be able to bring some more of those wonderful waterballoons if someone is willing to help me out in all the fun. Any volunteers?
I could probably rustle up a prize or two for the young ones.

We'll be there with home made salsa and store bought chips and pickled green beans. (Looking to adopt a SUPER NICE PRETTY arm candy roo to keep our mutts in line) LOL

Denise! My daughters are 13 and 16! They helped fill the balloons last year- you could put them in charge of filling them this year. Anything anyone wants done, I am donating my 16 year old. The 13 year old is a little tougher to get motivated, but Tiffany (16) is a humongous help.

edit to add:
bwahahahahahahhaha! My daughter is 15- not 16...I dunno why I aged her..lol. She acts older.

Sounds good. I will plan on that then. Sure hope the weather cooperates with us this year. If I remember right, we have had quite nice weather for the last two.

Posted honey prices on the Michigan thread.

Does this count as a crosspost? Don't want those infraction points.

Planning on hopefully being there. Wife and daughter in tow. Hopefully our almost 2 year old is up for the drive at that time.
