Michigan Chickenstock 2012 Buy/Sell/Trade

I may be able to bring a very limited number of Columbian Rock hatching eggs if anyone is interested (I only have a few females and they just recently began to lay). These are a very rare color among Rocks, very hard to find nice ones - these are from a Canadian line, and goodness, they have EXCELLENT type and are BIG BIG chickens. I am so excited about them! I actually go the hatching eggs with the intent of keeping only the two best females for a breeding project, but was so pleasantly surprised by their type, size, and temperament that I've decided to hold onto a small breeding flock. Here are a few pics - the male (right in 1st pic) is younger than the females, which is why he's smaller right now):

If someone says they want them ahead of time I will bring a Welsh Harlequin duck pair with their 3 ducklings, Isa Brown and Silver Laced Wyandotte hen for $40 or best offer. Only for somewhere they won't be eaten by a person. Ducks and hens are 2 years old. They were raised together, so they forage together.



This picture I have of the drake is from last year, he looks the same and it shows the same hen.

The drake has something against blue chickens ??? He's been pulling feathers on my two bantam hens who are blue. Also the drake has a limp from vitamin deficiency when he was growing. The pair are from Holderread Top Show Quality mating, I don't know how to judge if they are TSQ. Drake wouldn't be TSQ from the limp, but good for breeding. I think the ducklings are 2 drakes, one hen from their bill color at hatch. The chickens were from TSC.

Not much business at the farmers market today. Way too much rain, during the night we got another inch and a half and who knows how much more today. I did trade 3 dozen eggs for a quart of honey. Good trade and got rid of some eggs.

I can make some Nipple Waterers for anyone who wants one or two. I had ordered the wrong kind of nipples for my project. I will be using new and clean 5 gallon square buckets with lids. I can make them to be mounted on the wall, post, and etc. Please pm me for more details.

Also, I can bring fresh butter from our cow to Chickenstock for anyone who want some.

Well, according to Big Government, I can't sell raw milk, but I can trade the milk and sell the butter. What do you have to trade? I know that you have plants rooting. What kind do you have? I remember that you have willows, and want a few of those.

Does anyone have an interest in a gorgeous Splash Isbar? I don't know if anyone else has this breed around here - I hatched 2 males and will be keeping the Blue, but the Splash is just gorgeous. I can post pics when I get some updated ones. Isbars are single-combed and lay a "moss green" egg - they're brand new to the U.S.

I also have a couple of exhibition quality Barred Rocks cockerels. These were some that I was going to use in a breeding project but I'm taking a different direction now. If you're a BR breeder, your mouth will drop open over these guys, as their type & size is excellent! I can also post pics of these when I get some.
