I am not liking this cold weather, either. As for Fowlfest-ers: the organizers handed out a list with all the exhibitors' names & addresses (even the youth...

). I would guess that Rick is listed.

I didnt get a list when I went in. As there was no one else there and I didnt know they were giving them out to the public. If someone has a list and could PM me his info, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I had the Bantam New Hampshire off by herself on the top. Not my best bird, that would be my rooster, would have much rather brought him, but i only had papers for her, then they never checked them...

Wow, it sure sounds like you all had a blast. Sure wish I could have made it. I would love to go to a chicken show. Maybe next time. Are we still on for a spring picnic next year?

We talk briefly about having a picnic again next year and discussed maybe trying to have it towards the end of June so we could avoid conflicts with 4H. We should start tossing around some ideas. Chickflick (Rose) offered to procur the same park again. It really was an ideal site, but we need imput.

Where was the picnic site last year? Oh im sure its fun getting a bunch of chicken people all together.

We''ve done that here at my farm for all the computer techs on paltalk 3 yrs in a row. Had people from all over the USA and Canada come camp/stay here. I have almost 30 acres so it worked out well for campers. And the kids loved all the animals.

Rose was able to get us the pavallion in Delta Mills park just west of Lansing. It was a great site. Nice play area for the kids close enough for the parents to watch, yet far enough that they weren't under foot, lots of tables in the pavillion, electricity, clean bathroom, edge of parking lot worked great for chicken cages, secluded area so we were by ourselves. Couldn't have had a better site.

Hi, folks! I'm so glad you all had a great time at FowlFest! Wish I could have been there to join in on the fun!

Sam, I didn't realize we were talking about June rather than August for Chickenstock 2010 - whenever is good for you guys, I'll make the time!
