Michigan Chickenstock!!! Lansing area, August 1!!!

Hi Everyone I'd love to come to. Nothing to sell or swap but I get only 4 hours per week at work and gas is way expensive! Is anyone around Isabella county (MT. Pleasant) area offering rides? and if so, does anyone have blue cochin bantams?

Thanks
Nicole

Hey Sarah, Marshall is close to me!! My sister lives there and it is just 30 minutes from me!! I have gone to the Marshall dog show many times!! Also gone to rabbit shows there too. Good luck!

Now I'm wondering how far away from Lansing Marshall is... I'll most likely be showing in the morning (bloodhounds, by the way), so there will be nothing else to do all day but sit around. I wonder if it'd be worth it to drive to lansing and back. Of course if I end up getting chicks, they'd have to survive through two more days of dog show before I could take them home. Anyone gonna have some good-quality marans? (darkest eggs possible)

Vicki,

I see that... hmm... very tempting. Especially if there are marans available. I see someone is bringing black coppers but I was hoping for a few each of black, blue and splash. Add it to the wanted list?

Depending on what time I show at, I may end up being a bit late for the start, but I'll try to get there nonetheless.

It doesn't look like anyone is bringing drinks, so maybe I could bring some cups and lemonade and iced tea. If anyone has suggestions on drinks I could bring something else too.
I might like to get a welsummer pullet or two if anyone has any.

I am only a couple of hours from Lansing

I think it takes 4 weeks here in the states, so I'm sure it'll be more zippy for you
