Michigan coop design-pref tractor needed!

I had the same issue with making the coop not an eye sore to neighbors and only having one really good spot on my little lot that fit within the code requirements. Good luck!

Since you want the fertilizer you my want to put the coop on stilts with a trap door so that you can put you wheel barrow under it and open. Make the coop like a large dog house.

I put a bathroom exhaust fan in the coop for the summer so that they are not overheated.

In winter I just cut pink board (insulation) in 1/2 long ways & put one on each side held on with duck tape & through tarp over! kept warmer & tarp kept snow & rain out of run!

This one we left whole!

I just wanted to be able to find this later. It is a great resource, I really love thecitychicken site with all the pics of tractors. Where I'm at I would have to a mister or 2 for cooling. I may need some more garden hose!
