Michigan Hatchers! What'cha got cookin?

Im making progress over last year but still need to improve. I ended up with 8 out of 22 hatching... 4 out of 9 of my own and 4 of 13 of the shipped eggs. The last two had a bad case of shrink wrap...but all made it through the night last night and appear to be doing great.

Now Im debating throwing some of my splash marans roo / blue orpington eggs in with the next batch. Anyone have an idea of what they might look like?

I would say they would be blue and splash ( just because if how blue works) and maybe some gold leakage in the neck from the Marans

I keep adding to the eggs I'm going to set today, started with about 14 am now up to 22.

I know, right!! That would be great!
One fine day I'll have some Marans.....but for now I'm happy to be able to incubate what I can with this borrowed bator and hopefully hatch and raise some replacements/additions.

23 eggs set in incubator....only 5 for sure didn't get too cold and are most probably fertile....the rest are a crap shoot regarding both freezing and fertility.
A lot of them won't be easy to candle for development....hope there's no exploding stinkers in there!
