I just saw they could start early - Day 18 is Tuesday and my eggs are so full all I can see now is the aircell. I am going to be on pins & needles all week!

I lay on sides. Went out to do chores this morning and my whole flock is dead. All my silkies and showgirls dead. I am completely devestated. Something tore a board off coop and got in.

Thanks guys. Part of raising chickens right? The worst part but still part of it. Time to think ahead. I still have the 5 I hatched in january in tje house and have emails into the people my original flock came from looking for eggs and chicks. So plans will be just set back a year. Life.
