Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

My first CS today but definately not my last. I really enjoyed putting faces to names...and finally meeting people. Sam, your chicken was awesome and thanks for the Welsummers.

I ended up with a whole lot of eggs, enough to keep me supplied for sure and some to pass around to my pysanka group!
To everyone who took the time to bring eggs for me, I am endebted. I think everyone got a swap who wanted one...if I missed anyone, please PM me.
Whoever left the extra carton of Indian Runner eggs on my chair, a big thank you.

Mish, thank you for your patience with all my "stuff" and letting me catch a ride.

Lastly...who made that totally AWESOME jello: red, probably cranberry or pomegrante?? with pineapple and walnuts????
Can you share a recipe!! YUM!

So I raise Aracaunas and as you all know it gets hard to find them coming up on my senior year I want to get a new cockeral since my roo is almost three I want to finish the showing season pretty good. (I'm leaving for the Army so this is my last season for a while) so if anyone has some cockerals I'm interested

Another great CS for Cindy and I. I hope everyone enjoys the maple I had. Already miss my special friends and hope our trails cross thoughout the year. I shot a few pix and will be putting them somewhere for people to link to. May be awhile since I have to go through about 300 and edit a few. Like last year I'll be talking to a few folks regarding planning next years event. I know we came up with some great ideas last year. Talking around I heard a few more for next year. Love ya all! UCHYTIL (you-ka-tell).

It was nice to see faces yesterday! Thank you to all of you who did so much work. I feel like I didn't see or talk to everyone that I had planned on. DH missed it all taking Titus (puppy) in to the vet. Titus is not back to his normal puppy self but much improved and back eating, drinking and walking about stiffly like a little old man. He is however being overly spoiled and I'm sure will never recover from being allowed on the bed!

Last night we arrived home a little after 6 and I went to check all the birds. It was a shock to the system that it was 68* here. Anyway while we were gone some jokester had visited our coop.

My guess is my mom. The little egg in back is an OEG so it is small.

I had a great time at CS13. Good people, good food, good time.

I even enjoyed the quinoa dish.

Even though I still don't know what it is.

The entertainment portion of the event was fun to watch. The loose chicken wrangling dance is always entertaining.

I wish I could tell you exactly how many attended yesterday. Forty four members signed in but I know many folks didn't so I can only guesstimate how large our event was. My best guess would be slightly over 100. A little smaller than last year but the enjoyment was no less.
