Sam... you're an awesome friend! So hard to be friends like that with people now a days. I try.. maybe it's just me.
Saw a nice little 8pt today but I missed him. Thats ok, hopefully next year he'll be a little bigger, and a little smarter!

I may have mentioned Button before, she is a tiny chick hatched by my sumatra. So, this poor thing is so small, I checked her yesterday and she seemed a little thin. I have seen the bigger hens bully her around. So I have her in a tub in the house to try to get a little weight on her. I may opt to worm her too. She's been quietly perched on the edge of the tub all evening so far. I love her little leg feathers. She has 5 toes, black skin and a big ol' puff of feathers on her head. DH even thinks shes' really cute.



I love old farm stuff... rusty is good too. I got some sheep shears on ebay for 13$ for both... and a hay hook and the track from my DD's Barn where I grew up. There is a pin missing that holds the wheel on the top left in place. So I'll keep my eye open for one.. I may just try to make something to keep it in place. I haven't decided what to do with it yet. But I love it!
