Great pics Stacy. did you breed back for purebred Angoras this year?

I decided to breed my single Angora Bailey to an ND buck again. The original Nigoras were oopsies, but lovely oopsies. Those two little ones were spoken for before they even hit the ground, and once they were born, the family was deeply smitten. Since then, I've learned Nigoras are a popular little mix!

If I could have found access to a purebred Angora buck for stud service, I would have bred her to an Angora. But that just wasn't available. I was considering breeding her to a boer for some half boers, wethers would be great meat goats. But I am just going to buy a couple of purebred boer wethers this spring instead.

Stacy, my ducks want to be out! I broke through their pond the other day and they were in it.

I never did breed my two does:( Maybe next year. My vet recommeded not to breed Tog to Tog. She said find a ND buck and go that route. I think it's too late now. I have a friend down the road with a ND buck but I was wasting my time trying to find a Toggie buck...

I have a wheezing, noisy hen. She is three and half years old and this is what I found today. It is -1 out so I brought he to the basement. She doesn't have any other symptoms.
Any ideas?

poor girl... did you rule out any obstructions? or Laryingitis.. fowl pox... bronchitis? Is there any smell coming from her mouth?

I have a handsome little ND buck if you're ever in need of his services.

No smell, no sign of anything, no sneezing, no cough, no mucus, she was outside scratching and eating with everyone else. I hate to treat her when I don't know what I'm treating but I may try Tylan. I just have to remember how much injectable to use.
