Another day is starting with a two digit temperature that is thankfully above rather than below zero. There is just now enough light for me to ascertain how much work the night's snowfall has made for me. The weather app on my phone has a weather alert for road conditions but fortunately the only driving I must do is to take Granny to her church that is located on our street and less than a 1/4 mile away.

A few pages back we were talking about well water and the fact that municipal water systems are chlorinated and that chlorinated water kills bacteria both good and bad. The overall health of your flock can be improved if you replace that good bacteria by adding probiotics to their food. While I'm not aware of a product specifically for poultry, the powdered probiotics TFC carries for goats will work just as well.
