very good article, best way to store eggs is air tight container in fridge. dig out the large tupperware

That place is fantastic. I so wish we were in a position to buy.

I highly dislike people. So the lady I know, pet sits. And a house she pet sits has a coop. There are four left. Everyone else died. The coop hadn't been cleaned since November. So four chickens are left with rotting bodies. Two roosters and two hens. We can take the hens. Sadly no roosters.

Yesterday the pet sitter emailed and said that the man said it sounded like a good idea for us to take the silkie. I'm really not sure if we are taking the BO or what will happen to the roosters. She said she will get back with us when we can get the silkie. Thanks for asking .

@chickflick I always notice your posts although I usually only scan back a few pages so I'm sure I miss some stuff.

Thanks for any tips on grape vines. I put my name in the hat at Muskegon Conservation District to assist with seedling sales. I usually buy some transplants and plan to get some of the Himrod vines from them.

Well DST is here and the sun is out so I guess all is well with the world. Time to set about 10 clocks or so....

Coop cleaning today. Looks to be a good one for it! Birds have been going under the camper for dirt baths. Tip: feed them AFTER if you want them out in a timely manner. Lol

My impacted girl seems to be holding strong. I gave her some bannana and soaked scratch yesterday. Poor thing is so hungry but restricting her in case it don't go down. The fact that it has been a week and it hasn't soured, food seems to be getting through really makes me believe it is the insulation. I should find out tomorrow!
