like your heater, can it be used with nipples? is the bubbler to keep the water fresher?
You "might" be able to use it with nipples, but I've heard people say they freeze because the water is down in them. The horizontal nipples the water is still in the bucket being circulated by the bubbler.

The reason for the bubbler is that I thought moving water wont' freeze, and also I noticed the aquarium heater would turn off when the water immediately by it got warm enough. Just like in a fish aquarium the water is moving because of the filters, so I just purchased the smallest, cheapest pump from Harbor Freight (and I also used a 25% off coupon so it only cost me about $4 bucks).

Hope this helps you.

Xena and Percy aren't too pleased about the Year Without A Spring. BTW, the heat lamp does have multiple points of attachment, so as not to fall and cause a fire. A friend of mine had goat kids get frostbitten ears even with a heat lamp, so I am trying to prevent that from happening here too.

Athena is looking to be my little keeper doeling. Which means her sister will be going up for sale!

So cute!! I wish we had enough space for goats. I love them so much. My aunt had goats growing up and I loved going over and playing with them. Maybe someday.

I wonder if the bubbler would keep the water from getting algie in the summer?

Not sure if that would work or not.

Better yet find a scrap piece of copper pipe and throw in the bucket. I did this last summer and it worked great. Read about it here at BYC.

Also with the copper you won't have an electric bill like the bubbler would. :)
