THIS is why I would not get a goat in my neighborhood!

Are there any mills near Grand Rapids that sell feed? Right now I buy Purina pellets but I would really prefer to support a local operation if there is one. Thanks!

I think Alto still has a Mill. Someone told me the one in Lowell closed down. Although I thought there were 2 in Lowell and one was lesser known. I could be wrong. I no longer live out there.

I think I may have ended up with a cornish cross? I have one chick that is more... sturdy than the rest. S/he is even wider than the 2 chicks that were a week older than the rest. I can't get a good picture though. The little people are dancing around too much for me to grab it out of the brooder.

Spreading newly hatched chick sweetness this morning. This is one of my olive eggers, a chunky little thing compared to the rest.

LOVE the cheeks, makes you want to hug it

I don't care how many cute photos you guys post. I am not getting a goat.
But feel free to bring them around for a visit.
you could pass it off for a dog

If i didn't know goats were pure evil.....lol. maybe if you can socialize them at a young age? But they are stilk sneaky mean little thingz when they don't get their way! And eat every concievable bit of flowers/greenery...small trees....sigh.

except for the mean, sounds like my puppy....., grabs every thing he can and chews,........he is tall so even things on the table are at risk,

Not sure if that would work or not.
what a great idea, I have some copper pipe will try it.....can you use ACV in the water with copper?

Dear Mother Nature, I would love to build my coop and run soon.
Do I have to send you my shipping notice with the date? I hope not.
