Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Love the tower, John. But what I "see" is the goats taking turns sliding down the spiral in the winter. fun, fun.

love that idea, saw it in a chick. mag.
sorry about your indentured servatude, but glad you are not in jail

always lots of fun and good food

Fallasburg, yes, we'll be there as well. Never miss it. Love the historic homes and bridge; almost bought a house there couple years back. Kind of regret not doing it. Such a beautiful "town". Ghost town really.

Oh, quarter horses/western pleasure mostly it seems from their FB page. Probably some big show around.

No, it was different than delivering for a show. This was frantic, organized, and FAST. They didn't go far either because the same truck/trailers were going back and forth every few minutes.

Maybe I'll head over there and go visit some of my faves today and get the skinny.

John we got an extra large dog house off craigslist that has worked perfect for the 3 boys... though the billy tends to hog it for himself. Our little run in shelter for the girls/sheep works great too.. it cost about as much as a shed kit and has a loft for storing hay.

Maybe you just need to wander over there and ask what it was all about, because I'm kinda stumped as to what in the heck was going on. About the only thing I can think of would be some sort of infestation that they would want to spray for real quick, but I can't really give you anything else that would really require all of the horses to be out of the barn for about 24 hours or so.

That was my thought, something so urgent that required evac. I'll keep ya posted.

Work programme paid off today.
I came home with half of my pickup bed filled with vegetable and bread treats for the canaries and the compost.

It is truly amazing at the vast waste of food especially considering that this food was the waste of a store or restaurant. I have an entire bushel of tomatoes that can be made into juice or soup or straight canned. The only thing wrong with it is one or two that are bruised or not visually appealing.
