I'm not a vet so take this for what it is worth (not much), but if I were you I'd give them the medicated today, but buy nonmedicated tomorrow and gradually dispense the rest of the medicated over the next several weeks. The issue with the medicated is that the ducks eat so much more than chickens that they over-medicate if all they are eating is medicated feed. You should be able to avoid that fairly easily by spacing it out and that way you won't be wasting feed or making them go hungry today.

Thank you guys. Yes they aren't only on chick feed Trefoil. It's a mixed flock so in one bowl (well actually 3) I mix layers feed and a scratch feed for all the older ducks and the laying hens and ducks then I provide 3 feeders with chick feed for the handful of chicks and ducklings that are still under 16 wks, I refill them 2x a day for them :)

Scratch should be fed very sparingly to birds, it is unbalanced and high in fat. If mixed in with balanced feed the birds will often pick through it and eat the less nutritious scratch first. It would be worse for your young birds to eat layer feed than it is for them to eat medicated feed, the high calcium levels can damage their kidneys.

Neighborhood stable is busy emptying paddocks today and man are they in a hurry. Rushing them ponies outta there. Wonder what is going on? It's usually such a solid, organized venture...today is utter chaos.

What is the name of the stables? There are some 4H fairs going on. What county?

A little late in the year, but I am getting some poults from Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys. Since the minimum order is 15, I'll be selling at least 10. But it will be a head start on turkeys next spring.

If anyone in the UP wants poults, let me know. I'll be putting the extras on craigslist once they arrive.
