Good thing you are hatching more! i hate when critters get in and kill your livestock/poultry. Every be on the look out, driving around yesterday we saw a lot of skunks out and with Birdman's coon i am thinking all the small predators are waking up for spring.

We have a young fox who has been hanging around...if he thinks he is getting a chicken or duck snack from my house he is wrong!!

Dang, I just congratulated you, now I have to say I'm sorry. Raccoons are my very least favorite animal. As in, they make me reconsider vegetarianism. Went hiking years ago, camped for the night in a known campsite where irresponsible human campers apparently "trained" the local wildlife to follow the campers for scraps and handouts. Had to jump out of the tent to shoo the pests away from our site. Well, I unzipped the tent flap and was inside of five feet from a raccoon on the campsite table, grubby little paws and teeth on our gear. Blew the emergency whistle in its face and I swear the thing looked at me and said, "Is that all ya got, human?" We did not sleep well that night.

So, you get 'em, Birdman.

trap is already rocking and rolling...and i will catch him...i have caught several...so this trap is awesome...bummer on the bird....but that is what nature had planned for her...just glad it wasnt one of my favorites....HES DONE FOR.....I DONT PLAY WHEN IT COMES TO MY BIRDS...ILL SIT OUT THERE ALL NIGHT AND WAIT FOR HIM....EVEN IN THE SNOW STORM WERE GETTING RIGHT NOW...BAD THING WAS THAT THE SNOW COVERED ALL THE TRACKS SO I COULDNT TRACK HIM....GRRR..
