We have had so much melt that it's starting to flood the goat/sheep shed! I closed the door last night (heard lots of coyote activity) and the door was froze shut. I went out today and got hose for a sump pump, we're going to try to syphon the water away, and this summer we're going to have to do some excavation to change the water run off.

And we lost our bee hive to the febuary cold.

We hit 42F.

I'm going out and shovel what's left around coop and run away. Now if only I could get rid of the slushy driveway and ice melt backup by downspouts.

But...I am loving the sunshine!!!!

45F here gonna end up being 46F i so dont want to be stuck in the office at work....atleast i am off in 2hrs and have all day tomorrow, the weather is suppose to stay great and warm up here for the foreseeable future but it is michigan.

It was so nice Texroo filled up the water tub for the ducks yesterday and when we got home later everyone was all white a clean..they look so pretty when they are bright white..except the pekin who has the perpetual yellow tinge from her oil...i think it is going to take more then one tub of water to get her cleaned up. And the one muscovy is gimpy for some reason, cant find anything broken or torn or seeming amiss so maybe just a sprain.
