Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

well said John,
and yes the runs are a muddy mess, threw some fine wood shavings out, figure they should bio-degrade before to long.

know spring is coming....heard a Sand Hill yesterday and saw a vulture today, crocus are up about 3 in. ( in the sun)
the chickens are loving it they can see and eat grass again

cat question......will tape worms show up in fecal test?? tech thought she saw an egg casing on my cats bottom today(in for exam and shots) fecal was negative. treated, which is good as she is in and out, and eats small critters she catches. I was just puzzled when the vet said tapes don't show up in the fecal exam/ you have to see them????

Was a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

Raz should keep pretty quite about the possibility of having a pig valve for a replacement. If the DNR should declare him to be feral they don't require ear tags. Their policy is to shoot on sight. And you though Garden City is tough.

No worries. my sarcasm is tougher than Kevlar.
And oddly enough, the Garden City official mascot is a red pig.

Snowflake, tapeworm segments show up intermittently, so they are easy to miss on a fecal. Seeing one on the cat is a sure thing! Mary
Thank you, same as whip worms then. the luck of the draw, so when the cat tests positive and I bring a fecal back in 2 weeks later it is just to get another $20

looks like another beautiful day, enjoy every one

One of our own has been fighting to get a few hens for quite some time.
It still amazes me we have to fight to raise our own food - that should be a big clue for folks against it. I'm donating so she can keep fighting. Go get em, Cara!
