Nice! Are the females always lighter than the males like in this pair?

havnt been on in awhile...so hope everyone is doing good....the thing with the ai....they dont destroy every bird within a five mile radius...however they do go from door to door with officials and test your flock...and then ask you to let them know of anyone close that has been at the place and then they go visit them...then they put you under quarantine for two weeks...nothing goes in and nothing goes out...this is including eggs...then they come back in two weeks to check again...if you have alot of birds that test pos for ai...then the national guard comes over and kills and digs many holes in your yard and is buried on site...small amounts of birds get the foam treatment and disposed of...i know someone close to a site that was positive for ai...and this is what happened to her...and her birds were clean...and not taken...hope this helps...my guess is we wont see any cases of ai in michigan until next year..it will be in the soil over the winter birds will move it...and after winter it might be here...just my thoughts...as was said earlier hot weather makes it harder for the disease...many spots that have been infected in the midwest line the mississppi fly ways...
jumbo quails...any ideas y this one is different then the rest of the jumbo browns...maybe a different kind

plenty of pheasant eggs

svart hona...a great rare bird...hanging in the sun

the blonde morels were picked in the front yard...and the dark ones we found in the woods...going to chop them up and put them out front for future growth...as it takes up to seven years to flower the morels...have a wonderful night everyone

I've been away and missed so much, will attempt to catch up later.

Picked up three Quackers... and brewers yeast tablet form is all i could find. I cant seem to find how much crushed to add in the food or if it's just sprinkle it and guess? They're runners from a farm store, it had a nipple waterer for them, i thought ducks werent suppose to use those.

Woohoo! Another learning curve
