perhaps some tomato paste. better then tossing all that hard workMy tomatoes produced like CRAZY last year. I think we picked 4-5 bushels. It was all canned into a basic marinara/spaghetti sauce and a few pints of salsa, but now that we are using it......it's absolutely flavorless. I am thinking it was because it cooled off so quickly in the fall that the flavor didn't set? Anyhow, if anyone has any suggestions for something I could add to it when we use it to make it TASTE like something I would appreciate it. As is stands I have 40-some quarts of sauce that I don't really want to use.

Depends on your customers and/or your local area. How much does everyone sell eggs for here in Michigan? I've been charging $2.50 a dozen. Wondering if that's too low or too high?
Where are you located Aart? I'm just west of Saginaw. I was going to sell for $3 but I know a couple people that sell for $2 and a couple for $2.50 and didn't want to overprice them where I'd get stuck with all of them. How much does everyone sell eggs for here in Michigan? I sell for 3.50 to a half dozen customers.
They're happy, my feed and bedding costs are covered and I have all the eggs I can eat.

Some people around here sell for less than I do, some sell for about the same.... or more if they're organic.
I set my price to cover my costs and got it.......but I am not selling to the general public, only to a half dozen friends and acquaintances.
Ok, thank you for responding! I'm only selling to friends and acquaintances too!
