What the best way to transport a 3 month old rooster... Cat carrier???

Might need something bigger than a cat carrier......might work if he doesn't have to be in there too long.
I use 18x24x18 wire dog crate with nipple waterer mounted on side... but I take them off roost at night so they have to be in there overnight then part of the next day.

I find roosters put in carriers usually just squat down and rest quietly. When they start feeling more comfortable they will often start crowing.

So I went to court this morning for arraignment. Charges related to having a garden in the backyard. Criminal charges, mind you.
The hearing had been delayed several times by the judge but the last one I wrote a letter asking for an adjournment because I was having surgery.
Well according to the court file (ROA), the hearing was held anyway (2 in fact). I was not present and the judge considered issuing a warrant. That is still under consideration as I have to return to the court tomorrow for another hearing.
The judge was ticked off that I declined to give the details of my surgery in open court. Thank you HIPPA.
Also of note is that back in April, before any legal proceedings, there were fines, fees and costs assigned to this case. I have been declared guilty without the benefit of a trial or legal representation.
And I get to go back again tomorrow.

Raz, I'm new here and don't know your story very well, but it sounds like you're being railroaded. The Democratic process at its finest. Can we help somehow?

We had a nice rain for about an hour here west of Paw Paw, it felt WONDERFUL, no AC here....

Yep. More specifically, the shade cloth that I have over the garden. And they have a bunch of other ginned up charges. All of which are criminal. Not just a mere "correct the violation" but a full blown threat of going to jail. Just like they did a couple of years back.
