I found it!!! Hello fellow Michiganders!!!

Welcome!

Ms. Patrick sent an e-mail to several of us who attended the Ag meeting yesterday. She is looking at having a meeting next week to discuss our issues and perhaps plan a course of action. She has invited a few other MDA people with urban planning and veterinary background.

I will attend for sure as I volunteered to join the task force if it comes about. It looks like we are getting through to the proper authorities in this game of chicken.

This is probably naive of me but: As far as I can see the regulation should be very simple.
1. any smell involved shouldn't reach beyond the property of owner
2. Any noise that exceeds beyond property of owner should not be more than x% above ambient noise level in area ( i.e. dogs, sirens, ect.)
3. Animals must be humanely housed and cared for.
4. proper hygiene standards must be met
Once these levels are met, what else is there?
All the rest is just BS to support lawyers and idiot neighbors. Also, very sad to say but Veterinarians are not necessarily any more educated in animal welfare & standards than the politicians are.
