Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

If the weather at Chicken Stock isn't forecast to be 900+ degrees again this year I'll more strongly consider coming. Carting a 2 and 3 year old and a normal, not chicken crazed husband for an hour in the car both ways to picnic in nearly 100 degree heat with lots of humidity isn't something I can pull off easily, even for a chicken related picnic. In other words, I'll be watching the weather, and we might come with food.

Good Morning! Looks like everyone is still in bed!

I got my rain gutter garden planted yesterday! I'm excited to see my garden grow! What I love most about it, I won't have to water. So, no worries while we're away camping!

Remember people, sign up for Chickenstock. You'll have fun and meet new friends!

You planted stuff in the rain gutters that are mounted on the house?<scratcheshead> ...most folks don't want stuff from growing in there.

Got a new Cub Cadet RT65 tiller over the weekend. (It was used actually) Worked the garden with it today. What a beast! I think it might even till cement. The chickens only get a day or two to play in the garden bed. Chicken resistant netting will go up tomorrow or the next day. Depends on what the cardiologist says tomorrow.
