Yeah, I was going a little crazy last night hoping that she had settled in the dog coop in the other coop. Not so sure she's all that happy about it, and looked like she slept up on a roost last night. Grabbed the other broody one and put her in as well today, along with a couple pieces of plywood around to kinda close off the door to the dog coop a little more. Hopefully one of them settles and starts sitting. From all I've read, never done it myself, best time is well after dark but be there first light to make sure they are 'bonded'. Mama might not be accepting of chicks and also chicks might not 'get it' to stay under mama, the younger the chicks the better. Have a back up brooding plan. Might be hard if you're not living where the birds are living, I'd go a bit nuts if I couldn't check on them several times a day. Best of cLuck!
