Not at this point. I’m focusing on smaller birds. Most people would take the time to transport a raptor to TC but not a robin or hummingbird. I’m also not sure I physically want to wrestle an Eagle or have the size aviary required. At some point I sure I will, I’ll have to learn just for transport or if they arrive here. My birds have become the unfortunate guinea pigs for everything I’m learning!

More snow! It's beautiful, but it can stop any time.
Chickens aren't about it either.

No kidding! Another foot dropped here. I fed the chickens some warm steel cut oats, mixed in some Cayenne Pepper, Scratch, and soldier fly larva. They rewarded me with 11 eggs the last 2 days.

I'm getting a few more eggs now too. I have had a light on a timer from 4am to 8am every morning all winter, and really thought I'd get more eggs in December and January.
Last week Dr. Fulton said that for good winter egg production, sixteen hours of light per day is needed, not the fourteen hours that I thought were enough. Maybe next winter...
