Anyone going to the swap in St. Louis this weekend? I've got a pickup lined up, and as this is the last week of school (i'm a teacher) my egg market is dried up until Sept, so I;m going with hopes to cut back on my 1 year old hens to make room for the babies that are hatching.

Odd, I haven't been getting alerts on the forum. Looked today and the alert was for 1. Click on the link and there was 2 pages of new posts. So I'm caught up now.

I heard about the raid down in A2. Crazy people all over. I wonder what condition the chickens and peafowl are in. I might be interested. I do need to upsize my flock. I have more egg customers than layers.

Two weeks to CS18. Anyone bringing Orpington pullets? I need more ladies for Larry the roo. Not enough girlfriends to keep him calm, he gets frustrated.

Lots going on around here, mostly good stuff but a few little set-backs. Still need a helper for some things.

I'm starting to wonder about one of my Amberlink Pullets. Thinking that she might be a he.

The 2 Amberlinks that I got back in Mid March. The one in the foreground looks very much like a pullet. But the other one has a well developed comb and wattles there already. Plus a little more tail as well. Kinda wondering if its an Opps! of some kind.
