Got some fresh hay in the barn, 1080 right now, which is over half of what Mom wants for the year. Best of all it was all done on Wednesday while I was at work and I didn't have to touch it. Hopefully we'll get some more dryer weather soon and our supplier can get some more cut and ready for us.

Got my unwanted rooster sitting in a pet carrier all ready to go tomorrow. Picked him up off the roost tonight and shoved him in it.

We just left the chicken stock gathering, not a big crowd but I was very happy to be able to put names to faces. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Thanks to Troyer and Edna for the absolutely delicious rhubarb crisp, it was fabulous.
