Chickenstock food is delicious!!! as usual!!! and so nice meeting people from the thread face to face. Jonathan, I sure hope we can get a great genetics conversation going with the Iowa, there are things I would like to do with the breed that I am not sure is possible, but will continue trying :)

Just got home, and had a very nice time. also managed to drop one of my bantams, so the 'chicken catching event' happened again. With one of my birds, again. I'm a klutz, but still, it was fun. Hope none of us get poison ivy!!!

I'm going to blame my fiancee for jinxing it. We had just put my unwanted rooster in the car and she had to make the commit about how we hadn't had to catch a chicken yet today. I gave Amy the Look like "Don't say that! You'll Jinx it!!" And then sure enough, that hen got loose.

Sure hope Raz is OK.
