Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Of all the orps I've had over the years only 2 have gone broody on me.One hatched and raised ducks and the other one got day-old turkeys to raise. Good mothers even though they had different kinds od babies to care for.

PS my back is still wonky but the coop has to be done to protect my flock.

LOL I have a 3rd Wyandotte wanting to go broody this year (my first)! I am not having it! Here is a pic of the clutch of 5 that hatched 3 weeks ago. Just started going outside yesterday. 1 is hid behind momma.

Happy 4th to everyone! Had a wonderful time at chickenstock. My grandson enjoyed himself and making a new friend.
You're going to have to let him borrow your phone soon again. I've been doing runs here to a special stop that a lot of my friends have liked getting gifts from, need to get one to him sometime soon. ;) Don't worry, it won't be from History of Drinking In Ann Arbor. (gym next to Mongolian BBQ where we had lunch today.)

Productive day today, went shopping for some shirts to use for the engagement photos next month and even did a little ring shopping for myself. Actually saw some I liked that wouldn't exactly break the bank, just gotta decide on which one I really want to wear for the rest of my life.
