You and me both. I can't stand it the way it looks right now.

I did cheat on the appearance the other day. I dumped 3 bags of shavings on top of the yucky stuff.
But I didn't dust the walls. This weekend (maybe).

Haven't cleaned the poop boards for 3-4 days.
Found it interesting tho that they avoided the board
(a few always sleep right on the board)
and all slept on the roost or edge of board.

Floor bedding is worse than usual as they also have stayed in coop for 3-4 days.
Not sure what I'll do about that, did buy more shavings but not sure where to put all the old ones that are going to be very damp once the temp rises today around noon.

I've been scooping up the poop every day. Only have a dozen (well, not anymore) so not too much to do. Frozen, so easy to do...
It's going to be a balmy 40* today. Plan on taking the dogs on a nice long walk. They sure have been going stir crazy.

I believe she stayed close. She was on the neighbor's fence, because the neighbor called here and told me.

The coldest morning she flew over my head and onto a trellis, then when I got a ladder and tried to pick her up she flew.

There's a marsh and creek (which is part of our property), so I do wonder if she was there part of the time.

I was too....almost glad to be out there shoveling!
Dog was ecstatic to have the driveway cleared and warmer temps yesterday.

Got the chicken run dug out this morning before snow got any warmer(heavier).
Couple more spots to do, but I'm about tuckered out.

21 here this morning, which is almost 40 degrees warmer than it was on Monday. Finally the birds get to go outside and are they ever happy to be out scratching in the hay.
