Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

RaZ, you're like my former next door neighbor. Loved playing on his tractor. Use to yell at us if we snow blowed our driveway. Gave up and let him have his fun! He was such a great neighbor.

If I get a roo, it will likely be from a straight run order of lavender orps. I think Matt and I are going to split an order in the spring.

Really glad I cleared the driveway today...snow and ground was freakishly soft, woulda been a mess tomorrow with high near 40°...but it threw good and wetter snow made wind mostly not a problem. Got run cleared too.

Not really thinking about hatching yet....need to sell some OE pullets to make room out there.

I was surprised at how light it was. Got the plowing done is no time.
Picked 2 plow jobs for the neighbors' driveways. Summer people are coming up for the weekend and want their drives cleared. Beer money!

Well that was fun. Neighbor's driveway was completed coated in ice under the snow. Very little traction and the drive has a pitch. I slid into a gully and got stuck.
Walked home, got the Jeep and a strap. Tugged the tractor far enough to get traction and finished plowing. The guy is going to need a boatload of salt.
