Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Tonight, for the first time since moving here in 1991, one of our dogs, who's only in our back yard near Perry, had an attached brown dog tick. :he So much for being tick free here! Out came the Nexgard, and on to the daily 'tick searches'. Bah! Humbug!
The rotten critters are moving in everywhere!!!

Better dog tick than deer tick?
What makes you think you were tick free?
Do you use drops on the dogs?
Last fall there was huge surge of ticks here...deer ticks, only seen here in the last couple years. Frontline Plus works good here.

Anyone here know about trailers and their depreciation?
I have a really nice 6x10 trailer, 3 yrs old, want to sell it but have no idea what to price it at. Paid 1300...what's it worth?
Wood planks, heavy tube wire way, powder coat paint, step-able fenders, LED lights.

No tick is a good tick, they all carry nasty diseases! I've been monitoring since we've moved here, and this is the first tick found on any of my critters. It's not unexpected, given their expanding range, just one of those things.
No help with the trailer, sorry.

Well, found the chicken with the back of its head eaten. But a little later, hubby saw a hawk sitting in the spot where the chicken was killed, so now not so sure.
