My Aunt had Shingles in her eye. Very painful. Hope she feels better soon. Did they put her on Lysine? Both the topical ointment and oral supplement can help shorten the course of a Shingles outbreak.

I don't know. I'll have to check around.
The major problem would be how to pay for it if I found one. My health care insurance was canceled in November. I had to pay cash for my prescriptions last week. Took almost half of my pay check.

Yeah, she's got a list of stuff she's supposed to take. An ointment for her right eye, OTC artificial tears for the left eye, a nerve pain killer, HD motrin, an anti-viral, and some anti-nausea meds as well, but I think we can probably back her off of that one as she seems to be eating a lot better now. She felt well enough that she actually went out to the barn last night, but just kinda sat in the chair for a while. She's going to be a while yet getting over it. My brother and I are pretty much resigned to the fact that we won't be getting to eat a Tea ring christmas morning. It's a tradition in our family.
