Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Taprock #1 for me also! I love your decorating ideas!

Opa - glad the oven is working out! I am looking forward to a new oven one day!

BYFM - my son had a lot of chronic respiratory problems and vomiting. It turns out that the antibiotics make the intestinal lining more porous thus allowing larger food particles to be absorbed into the blood stream and then the respiratory system reacts. That creates a vicious cycle of gut and respiratory problems. The solution for my son was to go to a real bland, low allergy diet and use probiotics from the healthfood store, vitamin D, vitamin C and fish oil to heal the gut. For the low allergy diet, I feed my son meats, rice, quinoa, beans, lentils, peas, hummus and all fruits and veggies. That is all. It worked like gangbusters! His pneumonia was gone and his gut healed also! I highly recommend it!

Daron- Congratulations! You are an Uncle again!!

Tap... I like #1... I like that they are both alert and the no bowtie on the SG... but he has a scarf is too funny!!! They look crazy weird to me without the bowtie!
I also like the red and gold bulb in the first one better then just the gold.
Both would be a wonderful card though!

Daron CONGRATS!

Opa What woman could resist a new oven? Glad it is working out!

Thank you for the heads up!
We are keeping the meals pretty simple.
He LOVES fruits and veggies! I have never had a kid get so excited over apples!

LOL, My DH mentioned triptophan at dinner and my nephew asked "who's taking a trip to Japan?"
That's so funny!
You need to photoshop them together. I like the naked neck in the first but the poofball in the second. I'd combine them and have the best of both worlds :)

Here's the view from my kitchen window, looking at the barn. It's kind of obstructed by all that flying white stuff.
How beautiful
Hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving day!
We had a great one, I am going to be a Uncle again!!! As some of you remember that my oldest brother and his wife had lost a baby in August, but this time its my 2nd oldest brother and his wife!

I am very excited about them, but I am remembering little Micah more than ever.
But yesterday was beautiful! After stuffing ourselves of food, all of us 9 siblings plus my brothers wives, minus younger brother(he went hunting for deer) played kick ball, my team "The bad guys" won, and "The good guys" lost.

We played at my grandparent's yard in Fremont.

The good thing about it is that it gets me out of dish washing duty!

Have a great day everyone!
I highly suggest them! Great animal!

Well it looks like I need to get rid of my dog. I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions. I have tried the breeder but all she would do is put her to sleep, she said. I called a rescue group but she don't have the room. Now what?

I haven't a clue what your "reason" is, but in my opinion, there is no good reason for "getting rid" of your dog. When you adopt an animal it's a lifetime commitment, just like when you have children. If there is a problem fix it without dumping the dog (although if you're of a mindset to dump it, it's probably better off with someone else). If you aren't prepared for that then you shouldn't be adopting in the first place. If you do "get rid" of this dog I hope to god you don't plan on getting another one. Also, don't just try one rescue, there are thousands out there, keep looking until you find one that has room.
