I agree. However, because of the pandemic and lock-down situations, my local health care providers are short staffed. I consider myself lucky to get the heart cath. If it wasn't for the ambulance ride to the ER, I probably wouldn't even know that I had a problem.

I hope you get a date soon. Have you had bypass surgery before? In Iron county we've only had 2 cases of covid reported. the hospitals are relaxing the restrictions.

I was hoping on line to see if chickenstock was happening... so disappointed it's not. was thinking about getting a couple rabbits, so I'll take that up with John off line.

I go back to the cardiologist on the 23rd. He should have a plan by then. There is a slim chance I can get by with a stent. That's why the fix isn't determined yet. Doc is consulting with a heart surgeon or 2. I have a great cardiologist, he met me in the ER and came by several times during my overnight stay. He sent a detailed report as well as a copy of his hand-written notes to my PCP. I saw her today as a follow up to the hospital release. Doctor Shirley showed me the EKG print and compared it to an earlier one. Two little blips, she called "rabbit ears", were the only differences between now and when I had the routine EKG in April.
Overall I feel pretty good.

I had open heart surgery to replace the aorta valve and aorta arch. All of the heart arteries looked good then.
There have been 52 cases of covid with 1 death. More than 40 have recovered. Most of the businesses are still requiring masks. But not Wally World. I guess they don't care.

Chickenstock is cancelled. Got my deposit back. It's sad. I look forward to seeing everyone and sitting and chatting with everyone. Food is good too.

Had fun camping. It was so relaxing. Had no grandkids with us, so no trying to figure out what they like to eat or what to do with them to keep them busy. The sunset on the lake was stunning. The waves were huge! We were in awe over the beauty.

I sure do hope that we can meet next year. I have a virtual baby shower Sat. See how that goes. My son after 4 girls, is finally getting his boy. No, he wasn't having babies until he got a boy. New wife wants to have a baby. We're all so happy for them. She's a gem and such a good mom to his girls.
