Was absolutely gorgeous here today....as only sunny day can be after a week of clouds.

It even got into the low forties with some sun here. The chickens were happy to be out all afternoon. I even got the last of my bulbs in the ground, did not think they were going to be planted this year

Good for you! I still have a couple of shrubs to move, and more general cleanup. Today, or it's too late.

Clouding over a bit, but I do hope to do something outside today. Rake up more leaves for the chickens to scratch through. Give them some treats (squash guts/seeds) from a neighbor. From a squash I gave them.

Today it's more like winter! Some snow, north wind, and whatever didn't happen outside yesterday, probably won't be happening. Lacking enthusiasm for moving dirt and logs today, for sure.
The chickens are trotting around outside, the horses were playing in their winter field, and all the water heaters are doing their thing.

Very cold north wind here but we missed the snow. Wind chill is 14 degrees and feels like it too, even with the sun out. Big whitecap rollers out on the Big Lake.

Snow missed us here too, was kinda bummed, it would have 'brightened' another cloudy day.

He was so embarrassed and bummed.
