The sunshine makes spring feel closer. I have noticed that I smile more on sunny days. Just can't help it, I guess.

You have way more ice than we do up here.

It's not bad here in St Ignace, but a friend of mine and I ran up to the Soo yesterday. We stopped to visit with her sister and we were standing around outside talking and after a while I thought maybe I should put my coat on. When I checked the thermostat it was 5 degrees

We could do a fall CS2021, why not? I mean we social distanced in the past just without masks, lol. Plus our numbers are way down it appears. Just a thought. Anyway, hi again.

You have way more ice than we do up here.

All/most of that ice was gone this morning when I drove to work. Maybe 50 yards or so out from shore. I imagine the wind is pushing it onshore then pushing it back out to deeper water. I'd love to see daily aerial photos of where the ice goes.

7 eggs yesterday and 4 today. Another couple of hens are moulting. I'm glad they aren't having hard moults.

I'd be OK with a late summer or fall Chicken Stock. I'm just hoping that things are back to normal by then. I really missed the car shows, tractor pulls, and festivals of last year.
