Got snow????? Man, did we get snow!!!! Poor little dog just sunk into the snow. We are definitely going to some how shovel a path for the dogs. Our back door is drifted close right now. I can't shovel because I hurt my shoulder. In PT. Hope maybe we can get next door neighbor kid to help out.

we got at least 3 or 4 inch's last night, with drift's. DH will definitely have to plow
crazy cold all over the country, glad we only have snow, much better then ice.

Got another ~5" last night....deeper where it drifted into the path.
Sphere on side of path is 12".
Sunny out now tho and no more snow forecast until Sunday.

Very cold out, got about 5" of snow. Hubby said the local roads were almost drifted shut, and everything else going to work was a two track at about 6 this morning. So glad I don't have to drive anywhere.

Good day to defrost the freezer! Put everything in totes outside, and I was pleasantly surprised by some of the stuff I found! Yeah, it's been awhile since I cleaned this thing out.

Turkey breast for dinner in the near future!

I'll never worry about a drafty coop again. The door was open all day while I was at work. Got home, toted out fresh (liquid) water, and turned on the coop light.
Then I plowed until after dark. Went in to warm up. Never went back outside.

I left the coop door open all night long!

Birds were all fine when I went out this morning. Some were even out in the snow. Gathered 2 eggs and gave them extra treats to say I'm sorry for leaving the door open.

Just finished the driveway and path to the coop for the girls! Even though it’s only 11 degrees...i can handle that with the sunshine! Even better news....temps look like they are warming up this week and by sunday...wait for it...40+ degrees

No, not really. I don't own a bikini. Haven't since I lost my bottoms diving off the raft when I was about 14. One piecers only for me! TMI...

I'm going to have a silly grin on my face when it gets to be about freezing on Sunday. I know it's going to make the snow pack down and turn to ice. 100% know that. 100% don't care.

40+?? Am I jealous, luckly next week it'll start warming up for me but only high 30's. Right now down here in Southwest MI it looks like antarctica outside!!

18 here now, only up to 31 sunday.....38 tues, not looking forward to a thaw.
Need to get all the snow cleaned up before it starts melting...
...then I'l be doing thaw chores in the coop.

I'd be happy if the temps stay in the 20's.
