Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

It's beautiful today, with the sun shining on all that snow. The chickens are in, no way do they want to tramp through those 2' drifts!
Time to make freezer jam!
We need the snowplow guy to return for another trip down our driveway, and to clear enough to get our trailer out for a hay pickup.

Hubby wants to plow with the Falcon tonight. Since he doesn't get home till about 5:15-5:30, it's up to me to broom it off.

Well, then off course I had to broom off the roof of the coop and the run. And shovel out a path or two to get around the Falcon. And clear the walkway. That "10 minute" task took nearly an hour. No wonder I'm a little tired now.

I got my plowing all done. Both driveways plowed plus paths to the garage and the coop. Also got the neighbor's drive done. That one is a PITA. Circular drive going up and down a slight hill. What makes it so bad is that the asphalt is so old, cracked, and crumbling.

Nobody is living at the house now. The old fellow who was staying there passed away a few weeks ago. I still check on the place and remove snow for the couple that owns it. The old guy was the father of the lady who bought the place last fall. She gave me keys to the house and my job was to check on her Dad and do errands for him as needed. Even though Bob passed away, I'm still keeping an eye on the place.

After plowing the drive and checking on the inside of the house, I did a walk around the back side of the property. The snow was knee-deep all the way around. Good thing I was wearing my galoshes and snow-onesie. :D

Thrill is back.....even cleared out to parts tractor shed.
Little Beast tears up the plow wash!
This and the all day sun and the no snow and warmer temps in the 4 day forecast has me ecstatic!

My neighbor hopped on something similar to that when I was out shoveling snow and came over to help me finish my driveway :) Those things work like a charm, might have to get me one of them
It's the bomb!
Has taken some a lot of maintenance and rebuilding/fixing over the last 21 years.
It's actually the second I've owned, first one had to rebuild the engine.
Then had to buy another.
I couldn't live here without it to throw snow.

Oh my gosh you have the snow thrower attachment!!! I’ve had people try to convince me to get a blade attachment vs the blower. I love the idea during the winter. What a time saver.

what other attachments to you have? Anything that can pull cans up the driveway?

I have :gig
