Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Opa, if you keep Braggs ACV for the birds... you've got the ingredients for a bit of relief from Arthur... A teaspoon or two mixed with some raw honey, so its not so bitter, then a cup of warm water... drink it down... Morning, noon and night.... I am going to say, that so far so good. I started using it for my knees and ankles. The pain is considerably lessened. Instead of taking 2 naproxen a day for inflamation, I am just taking regular old store bought ibuprofen 200 twice a day instead of 800 naproxen twice a day... Just a thought.

A couple of the drawings on my deviant page I drew in a #2 pencil on copy paper.....can you tell which ones?.. so no attic digging required if you just want to doodle, grab something!
My kids always have those cheep little drawing pads and we are always having pencils now that the oldest is in school and has homework... A few months back there was just a little contest amongst ourselves on Derp's thread... So, just pick up something and draw is about all I can do when the mood strikes, so I totally agree, even if its on a napkin...

Definitely not the caliber of Silly's, but I am more of a paint type person...

Something is living under my new coop. Not sure what it is, but there are little footprints going through the fence and under the coop on the north side. I also caught 3 of the chickens digging a hole on the south side of the coop yesterday to dust bathe in. If they get it much deeper they'll be able to go under the building, and I don't want to have to deal with digging chickens out of there, or hidden nests and the like. We've got a bunch of chicken wire and hardware cloth, so this weekend while it's supposed to be warm I think DH and I will put a skirt around it.

BIL found out that he has a weasel in the polebarn up the hill from his house. It's where we hang our deer to quarter them up, and is only 200yds or so from his coop. Hopefully he can get it trapped before it finds its way into the henhouse!

I got a few bucket de-icers from mill's fleet farm during their cyber monday sale, so hopefully I won't have to continue hauling hot water out each morning to defrost the waterers.

At least 2 of my chickens are laying speckled eggs, but I didn't think I had speckled layers? I've got barred rocks, orpingtons, wyandottes, and black sex-links. I *think* they are from the BRs since of of them always seems to be in the box when I find the speckled ones. One is a brown egg with darker speckles and the other is a brown egg with white speckles. Makes me

So I just went out and checked the waterers and filled the chicks' feeder and my houdan's crest/head feathers are all wet and look like little black and white pins sticking out of her head. Should I bring her in until it dries to prevent freezing and/or frostbite? I have no idea how she would have gotten her whole head wet.

I have a few in here that I've done. Have a couple orders for drawings to do as well. I have plenty of work to do, just find that during summer and deer season, I don't have time to draw, and then yeah, I get out of practice too. A couple of the drawings on my deviant page I drew in a #2 pencil on copy paper.....can you tell which ones?.. so no attic digging required if you just want to doodle, grab something!

And a fellow Deviant! Yay! I like your doggie drawings the best. But I do tend to like original work better, on principle. "Presa" is my favorite. I'll just link to my traditional art gallery. Lots of photographs littering my DA account these days on account of my artistic laziness: http://ladyrsanti.deviantart.com/gallery/9200862

My Polish do that. I just bring them in and blow dry them and take them back out so they don't have to readjust to the cold.
