Having that chick order coming has really helped me resist those TSC chicks! I might also sell a few of my one year old hens, we'll see.
And I'd love to have chickenstock happen this year, but June is too soon.

But it was my mom and grandma... Between the two of them, I figure there was material for one and a half saints.

Blue or Green doesn't matter ...as long as you hate Ohio State.

I don't know anyone who went there, so I can hate 'em just fine.

The vaccine roll-out is going well, so I'm getting more hopeful that we'll be able to do more sooner.

We're eligible for shots on March 22nd, so we'll be making appointments. We really want to go visit hubby's dad in NC this spring. We couldn't go last year, obviously, and his dad will be 85 in June.

I did tell him if I have chicks, he has to go without me. He readily agreed. That surprised me.

It's been 'life on hold' for the last year, and we are so ready to move on from this! Can't imagine living in an apartment (ANYWAY!) during this time; having land, space, and critters makes life so much better.

People often say "State," to refer to MSU, Michigan State University. If they say, "Michigan," they usually mean U of M, University of Michigan.

Dating myself, but sometimes us old folks used to say "Moo U," to refer to Michigan State.
