Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Randy, ask for help from the staff when you buy the critter food. They will put in cart and load it in your car. Maybe Lee will help you unload. I had to ask when I hurt my shoulder. How did you get home? Did Scot give you a ride? Take care of yourself. Your body went through a lot. You need to give it time to heal.
Yes, I know that. I have wagons and dollies at home to move stuff around. I'm not worried.

Insurance company arranged for the transportation. The driver talked non-stop on the drive home.

I'm speechless. I'm so glad you are recovering.

Take of this what you wish. This past summer, my brother in law went to the ER because he couldn't pee. At all, after a while of increasing problems. They told him it was prostate and kidneys and to see a urologist asap, he needed immediate and drastic proceedures done. He called a urologist and was told they would contact him in (can't remember the timeframe - a couple to days to two weeks). He went to get catheterized regularly as he waited. Started calling them when he didn't hear back. After three weeks, finally got someone there who told him it was taking longer because they schedule patients that doctors refer first, since he had called on his own, he was bumped, and bjmped, and bumped...

Why they didn't tell him this to begin with is - I have no words.

Anyway, well into the wait, a neighbor told him after getting nowhere with their problem, they found the Center for Holistic Medicine in Ann Arbor. They got help there.

My brother in law went. They found the cause of the problem; it was totally different than the ER said it was.

He took his mother, who was disgonsed with Parkinson's a decade or so ago. Parkinson's is diagnosed by symptoms. The symptoms happen to be the same as the side effects listed on her statin medicine that she had been taking for many years. They as helping her get off the statins (and helping with a few other things also). She is noticeably if slowly improving.

Randy, I called you at hospital and got disconnected 3 times when I asked for your room. Finally I asked the lady to check if you were discharged. She asked your name and came back immediately and said she didn't have your name on list so you were discharged. Didn't even ask how to spell your name. Thought it was way too fast to have checked. Why? I don't understand why they would do that. This was Sunday. So you were discharged on Monday. I was so relieved that Scott was going to pick you up.

I have a question for you all. I want to treat the new hen for coccidiosis . Never had to do this before. Can anyone help me with the dosage? How many mL per chicken?

The hospital lied to several people about me. They never contacted my emergency contact, they told people that I wasn't even there, and they simply hung up on people who did call.

Scott offered to pick me up but it was valid for the weekend only. He had to work Monday so the hospital made arrangements with the insurance company to get me home. That was a cluster but I eventually made it home.

Got a call from the visiting nurse this morning. She wanted to do the infusion but the hospital hasn't sent the infusion materials yet. She couldn't find a paper trail of where the stuff is. So the heck with it, I'm going to shower and go pick up my prescriptions.

Oh, Lord, please see what is happening in our country! I am so sorry and upset of what happened to you RaZ. Yes Sally and I discussed our worries and I was going to drive out there no matter what but Rose found that you were in the hospital. Anyways, on the 25th I will be in Ann Arbor but my last appointment is at 330pm and that will put me very late to go and to return. However, rest asure that I will let you know when I get a crazy thought and go early and give you a hand or two. No if's and buts. We are in this world to help each other and what more than to help people in this amazing group.

Yes we had lunch. I am not sure how Sally can survive in a salad, lol but I had plenty of carbs, lol Have to download more pictures of the roof but that will be later. Just came home and I am so ready for a nap,lol

Love you all!
