Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I did a direct charge on the battery and the Jeep started right up. Drove to Meijer and when I came out there was nothing when I turned the key. I had tools so I disconnected the ground terminal and tapped it a couple of times to the post and had sparks. Put it back on and snugged it up. Car started just fine. Started it up last night and then again this morning. All was good. Still going to take it to the shop and pull the codes. There has to be something wonky within the system. It's frustrating. :barnie

The pizza stone was from an estate sale, well used and seasoned.

DH really liked the crust. :thumbsup
That looks delicious. I have a pizza stone, too. It is great for getting a crunch on the crust. Excellant bake on cookies, too!

This year we selected our first Christmas tree from our 60 acres. I found ONE blue spruce, a perfect size for our new home, but it's the only one so I chose a nice balsam... a little Charlie Brownish but I think it's perfect. My son (19 yr) set up great grandpas 1940-something Lionel train set around the base and sent it roaring around the tracks. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. 🕊️

Nah, it's just how balsam are......I like the openess.
The train is GREAT!!
I like the openess, too. Less is more.
The train is super cool. The engine is really hefty and the tracks a bit sketchy electrically. We have a replica for another tree, but the old train gets to round the track a few times each Christmas in honor of GGP, who bought it in 1940s for my then infant FIL when he brought the whole fam to US from Italy.

If you don't tell your husband that that is a cauliflower crust pizza he will never know. It was just like eating a regular thin crust.

Chic, if you go out early next summer and pick a few likely trees, you can shape them both for next Christmas and for Christmases following. All you have to do is trim back the longer tips and the tops and they will fill out.
