Ah Dreamz, you always make me smile. What was that movie from the 50s or 60s. "Creature from the black lagoon"? That could be me. I've dived from Isle Royale to the cenotes of the Yucatan. Shipwrecks from Virginia & North Carolina to the waters of Catalina Island. I love the water. Ocean, lake, or knee-deep stagnant swamps. Come visit for a week and I'll teach you how to swim. Swamp wading is a two-week course.Swamp people, lol That is a show I believe about Louisiana and Mississippi swamps. You are very close to the lake also! Nice! I do not know how to swim, (yeah right coming froman island) but love the water, Water in a roofed pool that is. No ocean, lake or anything else. I like the ocean more than anything and I would go in for a bit and not far in if it is a cloudy day. Cannot stand the sun and by the ocean it is worse because it sticks on me with the salt of the water. I go home and I am either inside most of the time, in a car with ac or if outside, must wear a long sleeve shirt. Now imagine at 100 heat, I just drench of sweat every day back home.
That right there brings back a lot of memories of me being a free country boy along with my brothers. Swamp wading was a delightful past time in the summer and early fall. That's probably one reason why we were all so healthy.Ah Dreamz, you always make me smile. What was that movie from the 50s or 60s. "Creature from the black lagoon"? That could be me. So true, brother. This line has brought back so many great memories.
