Mosquitos....Come on... I left Florida because of Mosquitos and you are telling me there are mosquitos in Michigan? No way Jose, I need to go up north some more then,lol

People who visit my place tell me that I'm plagued with mosquitos here. IDK. mosquitos never bother me. I haven't had a bite in ages. It's the little biting flies that tear me up. I hate those damn things.

Have to make a run to town for feed for the birds and pick up meds for me. Maybe some beer too.

The only time my chickens are allowed in the garden is first thing in the spring before it is planted. Otherwise they pretty much demolish everything

You didn't know? Up here in the northern parts of Michigan the Mosquito is known as the Michigan State Bird, lol, not really, but it is a very real late summer and fall saying!! We have a non toxic spray that we use on our yard about once a month or three and it works very good!

Definitely Texas state bird. They can carry you away...

I've never been to FL. Are they huge down there too? I grew up in AZ so I had never seen a mosquito until my early twenties when I came to MI. I hate them with a passion.

I've been in Texas way down South, ugh, I believe their mosquitoes are like airplanes! Too hot and muggy for me!
